About the artist:

FROM THE CURATOR

To see the work of Juan Carlos Cedeño is to recall and remember all this tradition of artists of the sea and the great waves movements. We remember Okusai who is present forever, but it is not only this theme that is treated by the artist, since their themes vary by stages of time and space. The figuration of this artist contains the mystery of synthesis and detail both included in the two-dimensional surface; in his paintings we see how he contrasts visible forms in very interesting compositional dialogues.

FROM THE ARTIST

The elevation of human consciousness is happening now and always will be. I feel and believe there are ways to change our actions towards the world and ourselves.

The idea of positive thinking has had major impact on
increasing the love we share for one another in this

beautiful reality. I am an ambassador of the oceanic consciousness here on Earth. My main focus is to bring awareness regarding water pollution, possible solutions, and the importance of keeping our oceans healthy for the sake of all living creatures. The purpose of my existence and art work is to reflect the memory of water consciousness by expressing the ocean's beautiful power.
