Artist Statement

I am a Dominican fine artist, who has dedicated more than forty years to art, capturing in canvases feelings of life itself. Art for me is a way of transmitting to the observer in a graphic way, a series of ideas, thoughts, feelings or realities. When I stand in front of the canvas I feel that I am another person, the real me, passionate and in love from very early age of painting. During the process, I can make hundreds of sketches, but there in front of the canvas, I forget them and let my imagination run in unison with my hands, playing with the colors of the palette, with the tools at hand or simply with the fingers, and it is not until the end that I discover with emotion, what my soul wanted to express for the enjoyment of all.

Some of my main exhibitions were:

  • The Opening Exhibition | Ralwins Art Gallery, Georgia | March 2017

  • Sunshine Art Exhibit | Ralwins Art Gallery, Georgia | Summer 2017
