Statement
"As a Colombian female artist, I am inspired by my deep cultural heritage. The passion I bring to my work is expressed through bright positive colors that symbolize happiness and positive energy. During my 20 years of painting, I have developed my skills through both acrylic and oil paint. In conjunction with these mediums I like to use many textures and 3D forms creating depth and shadow.
The majority of my works are inspired by the landscapers and mountains of Colombia. The trees in my art symbolize the pathways we all encounter in life, the decisions and the challenges we face. The bright colors symbolize the connection and energy I feel when I am painting. I hope you enjoy my wonderful, colorful world."
